I recently posted a music video in the media section of the OG Kratom website called LA 2 BKK. The Kraft Soda Original bottles are in a few scenes of people partying with the green bottles. The main artist in the song, Dennis Thaikoon loves kratom and this was all his idea. His vision of people drinking kratom in the music video comes from his passion for kratom. I love everything about LA 2 BKK. The song, the music video, the vibe etc. I can also relate to this song since I lived in LA before moving to Bangkok. OG Kratom being part of this music video is a great honor.

This all organically happened when Dennis Thaikoon walked into the OG Kratom shop a few months ago. Dennis is Thai but he grew up in Los Angeles and is the leader of the Thai hip hop group Thaikoon. I remember first hearing about Thaikoon when I was living in LA fifteen years ago. Thaikoon is one of the first Thai hip hop groups and they paved the way for Thai hip hop. They also made the news in Thailand when weed was illegal and got busted for growing weed which I thought was cool haha.

Dennis and I connected right away with us both coming from LA, hanging out around Thai Town and the love for the Lakers. He told me he likes to drink kratom instead of drinking alcohol and it has helped improve his life. Dennis wants to spread the kratom culture in a positive way (no mixing cough syrup) throughout the Thai hip hop community so we started to work together.

When Dennis asked if I was interested in doing a product placement for his new song, I immediately agreed and was excited to have OG Kratom in a music video for the first time. The production of the video is top notch and the green Original bottles are visible with the OG Kratom logo at the end. OG Kratom sponsored the release party for the song as well. I then got the inspiration to make the LA 2 BKK can.

The LA 2 BKK can is the first artist/musician collaboration for OG Kratom. The illustration of the can tells the story of LA 2 BKK. It shows LA with the palm trees, Hollywood sign and Dennis cruising in a red ‘64 impala on one side. The other side has a giant “Tosakan” and a red “Giant Swing” representing Bangkok.

The flavor of the can is “Spicy Guavarita”. It’s a spicy guava kratom soda. Dennis and I wanted a flavor that represented both LA and Bangkok and this tasted like it could be in both places. The flavor of spicy guava reminded me of a spicy margarita so I named it Spicy Guavarita. I put Ghost Chilis in the guava so it's Thai level of spicy haha.

The LA 2 BKK is a limited edition can (500 cans) and it will be available early September. This can is very special and has the most meaning out of all the cans I've made. The flavor and appearance is by far the best work of OG Kratom. I hope people can enjoy the LA 2 BKK can as much as I do!
